Buck and Honey Birkinbine were one of the area’s best-known residents. They once owned and farmed the land where our first location in Sun Prairie sits today. Together they lived a life of service and philanthropy in the community and they were always well known to enjoy hosting good company at their home on Windsor Street. It is in their spirit that we present to you Buck & Honey’s Restaurants.

OUR CHEF

Executive Chef Sam Millan was born and raised in Ixtapa, Mexico - a tourist town on the ocean. His father, an entrepreneur, instilled in him the value of carrying a passionate pursuit of his goals at a very early age. When Chef Millan turned 17, he knew there was something 'out there for him that he wasn't finding in Ixtapa, and he uprooted and moved to San Francisco.

Since opening in 2010, Buck & Honey’s has developed a reputation as one of the area’s best restaurants. We’ve been recognized as a Best of Madison award winner, and have won Sun Prairie’s ‘Best Restaurant’, ‘Best Steak’, ‘Best Place for Live Entertainment, ‘Best Dinner’, ‘Best Lunch’, and a few others for four consecutive years. Our success as a restaurant has led us to embark on a mission to become one of the area’s premier venues for events and banquets.
